Oct 10, 2021 · The villager will accept most job blocks and take up a profession, but I just cannot get it to take up certain other professions. I have tried various job blocks, placing them in the exact same spot and orientation just a couple blocks away from the villager in his house within line of site. .

I'm not super experienced in the game, so don't know if I'm doing something stupid, but on my survival world lots of my villagers died in a zombie raid thing because I wasn't there. You need to have individual job stations for each villager, or remove the villagers with jobs from the area.
