I'm not super experienced in the game, so don't know if I'm doing something stupid, but on my survival world lots of my villagers died in a zombie raid thing because I wasn't there. You need to have individual job stations for each villager, or remove the villagers with jobs from the area. You will still need a workstation for each villager if you want them to refresh their trades though. So long as they aren’t a nitwit they should accept a job if ample workstations are provided 🙂.
